The Fire Place, nestled in Southington, CT, has quickly become a beloved destination for pizza enthusiasts. Diners rave about the remarkable quality of their wood-fired pizzas and the unique flavor combinations that set this establishment apart from traditional pizza spots.
One standout is the hot honey pepperoni, hailed as a revelation by Robby Frazier, who boldly claims it surpasses even the legendary Sally’s and Pepe’s. Alejandra Reuhel also appreciates the well-charred crust and recommends pairing your meal with their chocolate martini, which is described as a decadent dessert in liquid form.
Customers like Kevin Vazquez commend the diverse offerings, including wings and inventive specials, while Mark Hotchkiss enjoys the extensive beer selection to complement his favorite honey BBQ chicken pizza. Icon Gate Entertainment highlights the inviting atmosphere and friendly service, even noting some wait times might be longer than expected.
Although prices lean towards the premium side, many agree that the quality of food and warm ambiance justify the cost. With its combination of delicious dishes and a compelling dining experience, The Fire Place firmly establishes itself as a must-visit in the area.

I had a chocolate martini and it was like drinking a decadent dessert. I would return just for another one of those. My friends group ordered a pizza and we agreed that it’s one of the best pizzas we’ve had, with just the right amount of charring underneath. Pricing was reasonable. Staff was very understanding, especially considering we went in and ordered with the intention of taking out and then changed our minds and decided to eat in.

I’m usually finding myself eating New Haven pizza thinking that I’m getting the best pizza there is. But today, at The Fire Place, I was amazed with the quality of the pizza and wings. Everything we had was top notch, and I will definitely come back and invite others to do the same!

The best pizza I’ve ever had. We tried Sally’s and peppes while we were in town because legend has it they were the best. The fire place made Sally’s and peppes taste like gas station pizza. We had a weekly special called hot honey pepperoni and everything about it was perfect. This place should be the most famous around that area

My favorite pizza place in Southington, CT! Great beer selection as well. I usually go for the honey BBQ chicken pizza, but all their wood fired pizza is fantastic! Plus their spicy garlic wings are amazing!!

The Fire Place atmosphere inside is fantastic. Probably the best looking pizza place around. Service from Mia was very friendly. Food to table time was a bit slow. Wings were great. Could be a bit crispier but they tasted really good. Mashed potato pizza is done right here. Sausage pizza could have more sausage topping but it tastes great. Pizza is a nice combination of fire cooking but yet the dough is still soft. Definitely pricey but it's the qod we live in for now. Would return to The Fire Place as this visit for dinner was pretty good.

(Last visited 10/22/2021.) So I've seen this place get mentioned in The Wingaddicts Facebook group a couple of times so Bae and I made our way here to check this place out and here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: As soon as you walk in this place wraps you up and hugs you. It feels warm, welcoming and it invites you in. There's a lot of stone walls, a little bit of wood and warm, yellow lighting. There are several sections of the restaurant and navigating them CAN be a bit confusing for first-timers, but it's not that bad. Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but she was great. There was nothing to complain about and she made sure that we had everything we needed. Food: Now, for the main event! This place is REALLY well known for their wood-fired pizzas that have such a unique flavor, but we are here for the wings. The Fire Place offers wings in 6 flavors, but only in 1 size and you can only get 1 flavor per order. So we ended up with 2 flavors, the original "Fire Place Wings" and their Spicy Garlic flavor. When I tell you I was absolutely blown away by every aspect of of these wings I mean. The texture, flavor, spice, size, everything. These are literally some of the best wings I've ever had. This is exactly what I mean when I say wings that aren't fried take you to new worlds! I did prefer the original flavor to the the spicy garlic, but it honestly didn't matter. I MUST come back to try the other 4 flavors and to film them for my channel! We also split a Spinaci Salad which contains spinach, red onions, Mandarin oranges, pecans, Gorganzola cheese and served with a raspberry vinaigrette. That too was crisp, fresh, deliciously sweet and filling. Value: Each order of wings is 15.99 and comes with a dozen. For what you get they're absolutely worth the money. For sure. The salad was 11.99 for the large. In conclusion, I loved this place. I haven't been back yet, but Bae and I talk about revisiting all the time. We just need to make it happen! If you made it this far in the review, I appreciate you reading. Please do me a favor and head on over to "The Hungry Road" on YouTube and subscribe! My channel features a lot of food, car and exclusive shoe related content! Help me grow! Thank you so much!

Best wings ive had! They were full of flavor plenty of sauce. They were also moist but still had a char on the outside. The pizza was a soild pizza, i have no complaints its everything i ask for in a pizza. The service was pretty good for how busy it was we did not get full 100 attention but we got everything we wanted in a good time and it was delicous Update... ordered the fig jam and arugala foccia bread that was a special. It tasted wonderful my only complaint is its definitely not foccia bread... tasted felt and looked like pizza dough.

The dry rub garlic parm wings were SO good. The pizza was delicious too. The table we sat at was sagging in the middle and had a bunch of gum stuck to the bottom (as told to me by the children that were with me). Def smells like a wood fire when you walk in. Rustic atmosphere.
